About Grains

We are actively engaged in repairing Flash BIOS for PC's, and other equipment that use a Flash ROM type chip or EEPROM.

Stock consists of mainly PLCC and TSOP EEPROM.

We do have a few SPI Serial Flash chips in both SOIC and PDIP in stock.

One PDIP type has been ordered and will be available here very soon. We are able to offer a Worldwide chip programming service

Postal Service

All our deliveries are made by first class Royal mail as a Standard Postal Option within the EEC. Other Postal options also available. We always keep the certificate of posting for our customers.

Programming

We are able to program 8 Pin SPI Serial Flash in both SOIC and PDIP, PLCC EEPROM's, and also 32, 40 and 48 pin TSOP types. We are attempting to expand the range of TSOP and SPI devices that we keep in stock.

We currently stock mainly SST devices, but do have a few Winbond, Intel, EON and other makers devices.

Other EEPROM types would require additional adapter's, our programmers will burn most types of EEPROM and adapters are purchased as and when the need arises. We have four in-house EEPROM programmer's, if we can't program your chip on one then usually the one of the others will program them.

EEPROMs

We stock a good range of PLCC 32 and DIP EEPROM's we are also starting to stock TSOP, VSOP and SPI Flash types. Parts are normally purchased for stock based on customer inquiries.

If I receive a few requests for a new part that we do not have, I will consider stocking it and adding the chip to the range of available EEPROM's that we currently stock.
Additions are made on a regular basis, and I do try to keep the parts mentioned on the EEPROM page in stock. Usually parts are re ordered before I run out entirely. Older parts are being replaced with modern lead free types where possible.

I have a few older EPROMs. We also keep usefull recycled motherboard components.

We keep used / Recycled C2030 battery holders, motherboard fan headers, sound lead headers, coloured jumpers, motherboard power regulators, intergrated curcuits, sounders and high temperature capacitors.
