Asus provide very good support for their products, BIOS support is exceptional for their retail products. Occasionally with new motherboards you find the BIOS is not yet available for download. These occurrences are rare, and can normally be resolved by emailing them.
SPI Serial Flash 8 Pin DIP, SOIC
SPI Serial Flash BIOS chips are starting to make an appearance on new Asus motherboards. If your board has a soldered SOIC type EEPROM and an SPI header then we are able to program these boards using the header, you would then need to send in your board.
Asus BIOS Replacement
If you need a replacement BIOS chip or flash ROM for an Asus motherboard, you can buy from the Home Page or the Payment Page.
We stock a good range of flash BIOS chip's and sell them programmed
or blank.
You can also send your own chip to us for reprogramming which saves
the cost of a replacement EEPROM
