Shuttle CMOS Reference
Shuttle provide very good support for their products. However they do have lots of similar models with different motherboard revisions or versions. Take care and make sure you pick the correct update for your Shuttle PC.
Like most other makers shuttle are now releasing machines fitted with the SPI Serial Flash EEPROM.
BIOS Reprogramming and Replacement
If you need a replacement BIOS chip or flash ROM for a shuttle PC, you can buy from the Home Page or the Payment Page. We stock a good range of flash BIOS Chip's and sell them programmed or blank.
You can also send your own chip to us for reprogramming, which saves the cost of a replacement EEPROM.

SP35 P2 Pro-SPI Serial Flash
The last one of these we had in to program was actually fitted with the ESMT 50 F25L008A which is an 8 Pin 8 Meg PDIP device. An SPI Serial Flash PDIP part from Winbond or MX will replace the ESMT part, and we have both in stock. Most SPI serial flash EEPROM from different makers are totally interchangeable if the same capacity, as they conform to the same standards.
Some SPI Serial Flash parts offer faster access times than others and that is about the only difference between them
We are able to supply the Winbond W25X80VDAIZ or the MX25L8005PC as a replacement for the ESMT part above.
