Gericom N243S1

Gericom are a large OEM maker and most of their products are distributed by many different OEM makers. The Silver Shadow Laptop is also sold under many other different names, but usually retains the model number of N243S1

We were lucky enough to have an example of the motherboard for the Silver Shadow P4 come to us complete with processor. This particular board came from the Viglen Dossier GS Model N243S1

The board uses an Amic A29040AL-70 as a CMOS part and the chip is socketed too or at least our example was, which makes for easy removal of the BIOS/CMOS chip for for servicing.
